Every slide also has its own "🖼 Background" button directly on it in the deck, so you can override any individual slide's background too.
For PDF export: in the print dialog, open "More settings" and enable "Background graphics" (Chrome/Edge) — otherwise the browser strips dark backgrounds and images from the PDF by default.
This file is your reusable template — reopen it for every new birthday batch. Import or edit student data, adjust each slide's background if you like, then export.
